Outsource Professional Directors (OPD) was established as a standalone entity in January 2020, evolving from PMCT Accountants & Consultants (PMCT) to enhance and expand outsourced services for clients. While formally launched in 2020, OPD’s operations date back to 2006 when it began as a consultancy service under PMCT, gradually extending into outsourced personnel services for businesses in the UK and beyond.

As demand grew, OPD introduced specialised solutions including bookkeeping, payroll management, and an Umbrella Company to support clients affected by the HMRC IR35 legislation. Today, OPD operates independently with a strong foundation in client service, particularly excelling in Umbrella Company management and international personnel solutions. Since our inception, we have continued to grow year on year, proudly serving a growing list of loyal and new clients.

All candidates engaged through OPD under the PAYE scheme are managed with tax and compliance oversight provided by PMCT Accountants & Consultants. This ensures that assignments are not only financially compliant but are structured to reduce tax risk for both clients and workers. Permanent employees and self-employed individuals engaged outside of OPD’s direct contracts are supported through clear tax guidance. Every project or engagement is reviewed to assess its tax implications, and all PAYE activities are administered with full HMRC compliance, giving peace of mind to both businesses and individuals.
