Originally part of PMCT Accountants & Consultants, a separate organisation was created to enhance services offered to our clients. PMCT expanded its outsource services for bookkeeping and payroll management including Umbrella Company for PMCT clients affected by HMRC rule IR35. Due to upturn of events OPD was created out of PMCT as an entity in January 2020 and operation has continued to increase especially OPD - Umbrella Company management for our clients.
Outsource Professional Directors (OPD) operations started in 2006 as part of PMCT Accountants & Consultants (PMCT) consideration. It initially started as consultancy services for PMCT clients, then it extended to outsource personnel services for businesses in UK and later outside UK. Since opening our doors in 2006, we’re proud to say that each year we have a bigger list of returning and new clients.

RECRUITMENT AND EMPLOYMENT STATUS
Recruitment
Partnership with Employers
OPD - Recruitment Team operates modular process and relates to those engaging candidates as Partners. OPD recruitment modular operates as follows:
1. OPD - Recruitment Team engages with employer and recruit to fulfil vacant position.
2. OPD - Recruitment Team works directly with an employer as Consultant to help create a team for specific implementation.
3. In partnership with recruitment agencies whereby OPD - Umbrella Company is used to serve candidates.
Employment Status
Many Employment Modules
OPD is unique regarding employment status we offer to OPD candidates and business clients. Business clients are offered opportunity to offer candidates:
1. Permanent employment to candidate,
2. Contact whereby candidate could engaged as self employed or through candidate limited company depending on IR35 rules.
3. Candidate is employed by OPD as contractor for employer under IR35 through OPD - Umbrella Company.
4. Employer engage OPD directly whereby OPD - Consultancy Team member is engaged as Consultant.
COMPLIANCE REPORTING EXPERTS
Tax Experts
All candidates using OPD services are engaged under PAYE scheme supervised by PMCT Accountants & Consultants. Candidates engaged by employer on permanent basis as employee, and under self employment status are outside scope of OPD PAYE scheme. All assignments with OPD are reviewed for tax implication for OPD client (business and individual) by PMCT Accountants & Consultants.
Final Accounts
All OPD users and partners are provided with opportunity of having their financial and management accounts prepared by PMCT Accountants & Consultants at discounted rate.

OPD undertakes outsource services for bookkeeping and payroll management. For charities and churches, OPD provides management services at all levels of management.
CONSULTANTS AND TRAINERS
Consultants
OPD Consultants are experts of their respective disciplines. They act as account managers for OPD clients ensure full compliance of expected regulations. OPD Consultants are engaged to review and recommend working conditions aiding client gain competitive advantage. As employees of OPD our consultants are entitle to many employment benefits including periodic dividends, employment pension and holidays.
Trainers
OPD offer training to equip candidates and employees of our business clients based on request. Training is offered in partnership with PMCT Accountants & Consultants and Absolute Financial Software Solutions (AFSS). OPD Trainers are mostly facilitators of courses and double as course administrators and market researchers. They organise training for clients.
